Advocacy & Support
You deserve healthy love, a safe community and opportunities to heal and grow. ThinkSelf advocates understand that violence and abuse has many impacts on a person’s life – financial, emotional, housing and more. We work with you to plan for safety, find resources, improve your financial situation through job preparation and applying for benefits, search for housing, and discovering ways to cope and heal.

Wherever you are on your journey, our advocates are here for you to support you in identifying and achieving your goals.

We can support you with law enforcement court issues, including reporting, protective orders, CPS, custody & divorce.
Budgeting & Finances
We can help you plan for financial and housing stability by identifying resources and other supports.
For work, citizenship, college & life: It’s up to you! Our main goal is to ensure you have access to language and communication wherever you go, whether that is through an ASL interpreter or communicating through texts, emails, or captions. While attending classes at ThinkSelf you can improve your vocabulary, grammar, and comprehension skills – in ASL and English.
Not sure what you want to do? Worried you don’t have the right qualifications? Our Learner Advocates will support you. We work closely with Minnesota Employment Center.
