Support ThinkSelf: Empower Survivors and Learners!

In the wake of our society’s ongoing journey toward justice and equity, the challenges facing many individuals in our communities remain profound. Some continue to navigate unsafe living situations, while others find themselves isolated in homes where family members lack understanding of sign language and deaf culture.

Since 2017, ThinkSelf has worked with learners, survivors, and allies in the deaf community to navigate challenges, stay safe, and reach their goals for independence and self-empowerment.

Your financial support is crucial in helping us provide essential resources and services, including:

  • Transportation and moving expenses for individuals and families escaping domestic violence.
  • Equipment loans to facilitate learning and stay connected from home.
  • Transportation services for learners to access school and employment.
  • Financial assistance for victims and survivors of crime and domestic violence, covering costs like filing fees, interpreting services, and apartment deposits.
  • Basic necessities such as food, winter clothing, and household items.
  • Outreach and awareness efforts to educate and empower our community.
  • Operational Costs that keep ThinkSelf’s vital services running smoothly.

Our goal this year is to raise $10,000 to support these critical programs. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a significant difference. Your support helps ThinkSelf participants and learners take vital steps toward achieving their goals and building safer, more fulfilling lives.
