Saying goodbye is hard…
Help us say goodbye to our wonderful teachers Curt and Asma… As well as Steph, our Associate Director.
Curt, Asma, and Steph have all found amazing opportunities for growth in our community. ThinkSelf became as successful as it did largely in part because of Curt’s extensive IT knowledge and ability to make technology accessible to everyone, Asma’s patient teaching and kindness towards our learners, and Steph’s incredible 10 years of expertise, building the very foundation of trauma-informed and person-centered advocacy.
ThinkSelf will never be the same, but because of all of their contributions, we have nowhere else to go… But up!
Welcome, Sarah!
Join us in welcoming our new Education Coordinator, Sarah Houge! Sarah is an Adult Education Coordinator/Teacher who works with learners to enhance their skills and achieve their personal and professional goals.
Sarah believes in the importance of fostering a supportive learning environment that empowers individuals to embrace lifelong learning. Sarah has worked with various programs and organizations locally and abroad that promoted positive engagement and successful outcomes.
Sarah holds a Master’s degree in Special (Deaf) Education from the University of Minnesota and a Master’s degree in International Development from Gallaudet University.
In her free time, Sarah enjoys hiking and has just started taking water fitness classes. She feels this helps her provide better services because keeping active in nature and through fitness increases energy and motivation.
